The official Vision and Mission of Cheacode Grama Panchayat are based on the following main objectives.Cheacode Panchayat has adopted the Kerala Model Development Vision, which is generally followed by local self-government bodies.

Vision

The main vision is to ensure a better standard of living and social justice for all sections of the people through comprehensive and sustainable development of Cheacode Grama Panchayat.

Infrastructure: To achieve self-sufficiency in roads, drinking water and housing.

Agricultural progress: To modernize agriculture, which is the main source of income in the panchayat, and to ensure the upliftment of farmers.

Social progress: To ensure the empowerment of women

 Mission

To implement these visions, the Panchayat focuses on the following activities:

Popular Planning: Ensure active participation of the people in development projects and provide transparent governance.

Education and Health: Improve the physical condition of schools in the Panchayat and provide better medical facilities to the common people through primary health centers.

Poverty Alleviation: Increase the income sources of the people through the Employment Guarantee Scheme and Kudumbashree.
